A deciduous, graceful shrub that blooms in mid-spring with sprays of tiny white flowers.  Mountain Spray  is usually found on rocky cliff faces in canyons and along mountain streams. It’s arching form can enhance a pond or a backyard waterfall. It can also serve well as an understory shrub in foothill gardens. The dried seeds persist through winter, providing a ‘dried flower’ arrangement. Mountain Spray  is also noteworthy in fall when the leaves turn vibrant colors of red.  Another native to add to the list of plants for year round interest.
