Juniperus osteosperma | Utah Juniper is anĀ evergreen tree that perfectly reflects Utah’s desert landscape and should be the state tree. It grows in lower elevations than Rocky Mountain Juniper and withstands long periods of drought. It is becoming a popular tree for xeriscape gardens because it grows very slow and its twisted, gnarly form with scraggly, exfoliating bark provides year round interest.
